Shaq’s inclination towards deejaying started in the late 1990s, spurred driven by his love of music. He developed his abilities over time by performing at parties, even in his college years. However, it was not until 2014 that he took on the moniker of DJ Diesel. His passion gradually evolved into an alternate career as he performed at renowned music festivals, headlined prestigious venues, and even entertained crowds at Formula 1 events. Shaq fuses genres like hip-hop, EDM, and trap while he performs.

His most recent performance in Encore Beach Club at Las Vegas was an electrifying event that left the crowd energized. Amidst the exciting event, a fan managed to snap a photo of the mayhem and put it on Instagram, summarizing the entire evening in just three words: “It Was Insane.”
