WNBA star Brittney Griner married fellow basketball star Glory Johnson in 2015. While Griner played for the Phoenix Mercury, Johnson played for the Tulsa Shock at the time. Interestingly, Johnson only dated men before meeting Griner. The basketball couple soon fell in love and were engaged in no time. However, things were a bit rocky as the couple argued now and then. In April 2015, an argument escalated and turned into a fight where they sustained minor injuries. The police were called who then arrested the engaged couple.

The lovers were put in the same cell which helped them to clear their heads. Both of them admitted to each other that they went overboard. And Johnson was ready to stick with her fiance as Griner wept and promised she would make it worthwhile. Interestingly, the couple went ahead with the wedding within days of their arrest in May 2015.

Before the wedding, the couple went shopping to find Glory Johnson a bridal dress. The whole process of finding her a dress was filmed for the public to watch and scores of people did watch it. In the process, Johnson tried seven different dresses before finally selecting the one.

Brittney Griner was overwhelmed with emotion and started weeping as she watched her fiance in her fascinating and picture-perfect bridal attire. Likewise, an emotional Johnson shed a few happy tears as well. In the video, the WNBA stars also talked about how they first met. The couple revealed that they first met each other when they played college basketball. The host wanted to know whether they are rivals in the WNBA. And the couple started bragging about their achievements against each other.

When the host asked what kind of dress she was looking for, Johnson said that she was looking for a form-fitting dress because Griner wanted her to wear it. In response, the WNBA sensation admitted that she was looking for something that shows off her fiance’s incredible shape. She also revealed that she was never a dress person and everyone on her side would be wearing a suit.
