It seems like Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has decided to take on Elon Musk. Earlier, Musk had dismissed Cuban’s suggestion of offering the verification program for free. Looks like Cuban wasn’t done with the new Twitter owner. The Mavs owner recently posted a series of tweets directed at the Tesla owner. Cuban pressed on the importance of the blue tick and how Musk’s new idea has changed the significance of it.

On November 9, Mark Cuban took to Twitter and gave his thoughts on the whole blue tick matter. The billionaire stated, as a customer, that he had to spend a significant amount of time muting those who were newly verified after purchasing the blue tick. Evidently, he was not done with just one complaint. Cuban then added another tweet where he mentioned that the blue tick indicated that the user was someone who could contribute something to society.

Additionally, it meant that one could actually learn something from ‘verified’ people. Cuban also stated that it was easier to filter out the hate comments earlier because such responses were very rare from verified accounts. However, now that everyone could get their accounts verified with $8, he only has the option of muting them.
Cuban asked Musk to make the choice of either bringing back the old Twitter curation or staying put with the new development.
“Again. Your business Your call,” wrote Cuban.
Elon Musk gives a blunt reply to Dallas Mavericks owner
Mark Cuban earlier made a suggestion to Elon Musk. Cuban said that Musk should consider making the $8 blue tick program free for certain people. He said that the Twitter owner should make offer it for free to whoever he felt were accurate contributors.
“Won?t be easy to confirm accuracy.? But if AI can try to model out bias, maybe it can model in accuracy?” tweeted Cuban.
However, it seems like the suggestion did not sit well with Musk. In response, he simply tweeted that the $8 would be applicable to everyone.
