After Displaying Father’s Famed Aggression, Dennis Rodman’s Daughter Trinity Continues to Follow in His Footsteps, Brushing Off “Inevitable” Opinions

NBA legend and Hall of Famer Dennis Rodman became relevant in the hoops-universe for his on-court and off-court controversies. Rodman was no doubt an elite rebounder but he gained traction with his multiple controversial activities. These activities made often made him receive a lot of flak from fans but The Worm was least bothered with it. The five-time champion continued to be himself. Lately, his daughter, Trinity Rodman showed a glimpse of his father’s unconcerned attitude days after embodying her father’s aggression.

Trinity is a soccer player and currently plays in the National Women’s Soccer League for Washington Spirit (NWSL). She also represents the US internationally. The now 20-year-old could do impossible things with the ball and has an exceptional ability to put the ball in the back of the net anytime.

Trinity Rodman is unconcerned

Trinity could often be seen on the field looking for opportunities to score a goal. However, when she is not showcasing her skills on the field, the whizz-kid is generally creating content for her social media followers. In a recent interview with ‘People’, she revealed that she loves associating with fans and different people through social media.

Moreover, she confessed that she receives a lot of negative comments due to constantly remaining under the spotlight. The Washington Spirit star said, “I think it’s inevitable, everyone’s going to have their opinions, but I think whatever they decide to put out, that’s what makes them, them.” According to her, it’s not possible to avoid negative comments but she has found her own way of dealing with them.

The 20-year-old said she tries to be herself and embraces being unique. Trinity gave clarification by saying, “Because at the end of the day, it is very difficult, but you’re not going to be able to erase the hate.”

Just like any other kid in their 20s, Trinity experiences a bit problem dealing with hate comments as they easily upset her. However, she knows that it is impossible to remove them completely. So, she tries to improve herself and remain unperturbed by what others have to say about her just like her father.

Trinity started playing for the Spirit in 2021 and soon began to impress everyone with her on-court exploits. As a result of this, the Spirit gave her a four-year contract extension worth $1.1 million in 2022. This made her the highest-paid player in the NWSL. Moreover, with this contract, she also surpassed two-time female World Cup winners Megan Rapinoe and Alex Morgan in terms of annual salary. Both of them earn $250,000 annually playing for OL Reign and San Diego Wave respectively while Trinity pockets $281,000 yearly.
