Shaquille O’Neal has sparked yet another debate. This time it is about one of the favorite topics among the NBA fandom; who is the Greatest Of All Time(G.O.A.T)? Apart from that, the ranking of players from different eras in terms of their greatness is commonplace. Shaq is among the greats and was unstoppable in the low block during his playing years. Of course, he often figures on the list himself. Then how does the AI software which has taken the world by storm respond in such cases?
Someone asked ChatGPT about the 50 greatest players in NBA and the software came up with a contentious list. Where is Diesel in this list and who did the AI software rank the G.O.A.T?

Shaquille O’Neal reposts ChatGPT’s list which put Kobe too low
As per ChatGPT, the Big Aristotle himself is third on the list. Putting him over big men like Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Hakeem Olajuwon, Wilt Chamberlain, and Bill Russell is a big-time approval by the AI software. However, his former teammate Kobe Bryant found a place in the top 50, but it looks like he may have been placed rather too low. Is Shaq in agreement with that?

The Software ranks the Black Mamba at number 14. He finds a place way below Stephen Curry, Magic Johnson, and Charles Barkley. Listing Kobe “Bean” Bryant out of the top ten is surely a bold call. Did Shaq post this story because of his own ranking, or does he agree with the way his former championship partner has been rated here?
Apart from that, the breakthrough application labeled LeBron James as the G.O.A.T. placing him at number one while MJ was number two. Does Shaq believe that LBJ is the number one NBA player of all time? Interestingly, four Lakers Greats find their place in the top ten.

G.O.A.T lists cause huge divisions
It remains unclear as to what reasons the former Lakers Center had for publishing the list. However, any such list can generate a lot of debates and there is no surefire way to ascertain the accuracy. The ever-present G.O.A.T debate usually features MJ and LBJ, but naming top-ten, top-twenty, etc. has been an exercise done by many experts of the game.

However, usually, the fans are emotional about these debates. One more nugget that can divide the fans is ranking Manu Ginobili over Jerry West and Moses Malone.
