The Western Conference Finals between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Denver Nuggets may come to a close sooner than fans would have expected. The Nuggets have managed to take a 3-0 lead over the Lakers after their latest win tonight. However, another eyebrow-raising moment was LeBron James unintentionally causing an injury that drew blood. However, that incident ended on an amusing note despite the Lakers suffering a disappointing loss in Game 3.
There has always been a theory among the NBA community that LeBron James has had a tumultuous relationship with veteran official, Scott Foster. So, even though the incident was brushed under the rug with a hilarious jab, the Lakers had to face disappointment by the end of the final buzzer, regardless.

The Denver Nuggets took Game 3 against the Los Angeles Lakers with a final score of 119-108. Despite a fairly even game for the first three quarters, the Nuggets did what they do best, go on a fourth-quarter run to put the game out of reach.
A series of events took place during the final minutes of the second quarter. With two and a half minutes left to play in the first half, the Lakers tried to create a fastbreak opportunity that ended with a bloodied-up official.
Rui Hachimura passed the ball to Austin Reaves, who saw LeBron James going into sprint mode. What James did not see was the 56-year-old veteran official Scott Foster standing right behind him. James ended up colliding with Foster, causing a cut on his mouth, and had to be attended to by the medical staff. James was quick to argue his case, saying, ?I was already in sprint mode. My bad, Scott.?

Despite the cut and all that blood, Foster decided to take a jab at James. He said, ?You?ve been wanting to do that for 25 years.? Foster is one of the most disliked officials by fans in the league. However, Foster has been one of the top referees and gets to officiate big games in the postseason, which might explain why so many fan bases are against him.
Foster is well known in the NBA community for his apparent dislike for Phoenix Suns star Chris Paul. A stunning stat that revealed that Paul hadn’t won his last 13 games that the 56-year-old had officiated came to light sometime back. However, Paul finally overcame that curse earlier this year. Maybe James was taking revenge for his great friend?

Is this the end of King James and the Lakers?
It was a nice change of pace to see LeBron James and Scott Foster having a moment on the sidelines. Especially given that Foster has been on the end of a lot of criticism for his officiating of LeBron James? matchups.
Unfortunately for the Lakers, the team had to face disappointment by the end of the game. Not only did the Nuggets win Game 3, but they also took a huge 3-0 lead and are only a game away from reaching the franchise’s first-ever Finals.
