NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal dominated the league with his mind-boggling athleticism and size. Few players who were as big and strong as him could move like him. So it shook the players as well as his opponents. Ever since he stepped into the league from college, he has been dominant. Shaq is one of very players to have shattered so many backboards in his career. His opponents often had no answer to stop him other than fouling him hard and sending him to the line. Which fans know is like the kryptonite for ‘Superman’.

As a big man, O’Neal had to go through a lot of injuries and played hurt at times. During the tail end of his career, his injuries were too much, and he started gaining more weight. The four-time champion announced his retirement in 2011 while playing for the Boston Celtics. After retiring, the Los Angeles Lakers legend became a full-time entrepreneur and built his business empire.
Also, he began working as a basketball analyst for the ‘Inside the NBA’ show on TNT. His transition to retirement from being a professional athlete was not smooth because he was not working out or playing the way he used to.

A sedentary lifestyle did not suit the former MVP. So Shaquille O’Neal gained a lot of weight which caused some health risks. He subsequently decided to be healthy and fit again. Recently, O’Neal made some great strides with his fitness goals and shared a shirtless video on social media to show his progress. Fans went wild seeing the 50-year-old seven-foot tall Shaq with great abs.

In the latest episode of the ‘Big Podcast with Shaq’, Nischelle Turner asked O’Neal about the post. “You knew that was a thirst trap photo. You knew that was gonna like blow up!” Turner said. Shaq replied, “No I actually didn’t. I didn’t. Because I was on TikTok and the girl said, ‘When you’re 50 and you’re fine.’ And listen I think I’m the finest 50-year-old in the world. So I just said, ‘Let me just put this out'”.

However, co-host Spice Adams was not ready to accept Shaq’s reason behind sharing the video. O’Neal also claimed that he just wanted to show everyone that he has been working hard to be fit again.
