The Los Angeles Lakers took care of business on their home court, defeating the Memphis Grizzlies. Even after some over-the-top physical plays from Dillon Brooks, LeBron James, and Anthony Davis made sure to make the most of their home-court advantage in Game 3. Now that Los Angeles is on to Game 4 with a certain momentum, Lakers legend Magic Johnson makes sure to give his two cents.

The game between the Grizzlies and the Lakers wasn?t without its drama as Dillon Brooks was ejected from the game for hitting LeBron James in the groin. This was after the building friction from the two exchanging words from the second game of the series.

The Los Angeles Lakers managed to blow past the Memphis Grizzlies right away from tip-off. Lakeshow finished the first quarter with 35 points while holding the Grizzlies to mere single-digit points.

After the first quarter, Ja Morant and the Grizzlies just could not manage to gain enough momentum until it was too late. Memphis did manage to go on a run in the fourth quarter but there wasn?t enough time left on the clock for them to rally all the way back.

Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson reacted ecstatically to the Lakers? triumph over the Grizzlies. He took to his Twitter to share his excitement.?

Johnson?s first tweet read, ?Laker Nation, the @Lakers played surperb and physical on both ends of the court tonight! Our two superstars led the way in the 111-101 win over the Grizzlies. Anthony Davis finished with 31 points and 17 rebounds and LeBron ended with 25 points and 9 rebounds.?

Here followed this tweet with another, saying, ?Lakers, let?s not have a let down on Monday. We have to come out with the same energy, focus, physicality, and attention to detail!?

It just came naturally for Johnson to contribute what he could for his Lakers to win the series.

It was a game full of dramatic events

The third game of this seven-game series between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Memphis Grizzlies was full of dramatic events.

The incident that made the most headlines was Dillon Brooks? ejection after he hit LeBron James in the groin.

Then there was the injury scare of Anthony Davis during the start of the third quarter. Davis tried to throw the ball inbounds on a hustle play and landed awkwardly on the cameraman. Luckily, he only suffered some minor bleeding and still finished the game strong.

And finally, as the Lakers were running away with the game, a fight almost broke out between the two teams. John Konchar pushed Rui Hachimura on a fastbreak play. If it weren?t for the officials stepping in, things could?ve gotten ugly.
