Accused of Ruining Kobe Bryant’s Marriage, Shaquille O’Neal Slapped With a Very Harsh Reality Check Days After “Home Depot Girl” Saga

These last few weeks have been a crazy ride for Shaquille O’Neal. The Big Man was seen with a woman, well-known in the NBA community, which created a lot of buzz. Later, Shaq slid into the DMs of the latest internet sensation the Home Depot Girl. Now the NBA legend is being dragged for the DMs he sent her as he tries to defend himself.

To make things worse, people are bringing in the old receipts, related to the stories that Shaq would probably want to forget. Recently, in one such instance, Shaq was called out for being a hypocrite, while being reminded that he played a big role in almost ruining the late Kobe Bryant‘s marriage.

Shaquille O’Neal slapped with a reality check over his latest internet drama

The 4x NBA champion has been involved in a lot of drama over the years. However, as Shaq grew older, he took the role of a wise man who loves to share his knowledge with the younger generation. Back in the day, he was dragged into the legal battle of Kobe, which almost led to his divorce.

Decades later, the same topic was brought up amidst his Instagram DM saga by DJ Akademiks. As the screenshot of Shaq’s DM to the Home Depot Girl blew up, a lot of people commented on it. One of which was Akademiks, but he ended up being on the wrong side of the conversation with the Big Man.

Shaq asked Akademiks if he is looking to increase his followers by throwing shade at the NBA veteran. He also said that his job is to uplift people, and that’s what he was trying to do by sending such messages. This prompted a full-blown response from Akademiks as he took to his YouTube channel to address it properly. He stated that Shaq was just trying to impress the girl, and he chose a way that wouldn’t be offensive from the looks of it.

Additionally, he added that Shaq has been on similar pattern before as well and then he brought up the Kobe situation from back in the day.

He said that this is the type of thing that Shaq used to tell Kobe in order to get him to cheat on his wife. Moreover, he pulled in the receipts to Shaq’s encounters with other models through DMs or otherwise. Only Akademikcs will know if there is any truth in his statements. However, this was surely was a bold move from the celebrity, going against the LA Lakers legend.
