Joe Tsai, the owner of the Brooklyn Nets, cleared the confusion regarding the return of Kyrie Irving to the court. The superstar of the Nets who was set to make his return to the court would not be available for the game against the Los Angeles Lakers today. Earlier LeBron James and the NBA commissioner Adam Silver showed their support for the return of Irving to the court, which didn’t make any impact. And now, Jaylen Brown, the Boston Celtics star, raised his concern over the Kyrie Irving controversy on Twitter, which further got more reactions from the NBA world.
Kyrie Irving received a lot of criticism after posting a link to a documentary film that got released in 2018. He got criticized by many for the allegation of promoting the film. The primary concern was the ‘antisemitic’ themes of the film. And therefore, he received a ban of five matches without any pay from the Brooklyn Nets after the incident occurred. However, the point guard was set to make his return today against the Lakers, but the speculation died when their coach Jacque Vaughn commented, ?I do know (Irving?s) not available (Sunday)”

Jaylen Brown I know you are an extremely smart dude, and you know Kyrie personally, but this antisemitism stuff is not cool. And he double downed on it when interviewed about it! He literally did nothing until his money was on the line. How can you not see this

Seemingly, the fans showed a mixed response from their side. Many of the fans supported the statement of Jaylen Brown, while others seemed to oppose it. However, it doesn’t change the fact that there is work to be done. Only then would Irving be able to make his return possible to the court. Joe Tsai’s recent statement definitely keeps the return of the Nets superstar doubtful.
