NBA all-time great Dennis Rodman has won five NBA titles. Two back-to-back with the Detroit Pistons and then a three-peat with the Chicago Bulls. He has also won two straight Defensive Player of the Year awards. He has led the league in rebounds per game for seven straight seasons, at a time when the league was dominated by towering powerful centers. And he is also a father of three children. Despite all of this, Rodman once struggled to pick the happiest moment of his life in an interview. The “Worm” once appeared on “The Jordan Harbinger Show” and discussed a variety of things.

During the interview, the host asked the five-time champion about the happiest moment of his life. Rodman said, “I’d say a lot of them but they all turned to s**t!.. I say well, and my first child, but that didn’t turn out too fu****g well!.. I could say win a championship, that didn’t work out too fu****g well! Because things changed and nothing that was the same. So winning a championship in Chicago, that was pretty cool but I don’t know. That’s a difficult question to answer.”

The Pistons drafted Dennis Rodman in the second round of the 1986 NBA draft. And there was not a huge hype around him. This helped him develop without any outside pressure. He slowly started racking up numbers. Under head coach Chuck Daly, the Pistons were a defensive juggernaut, and Rodman became one of the top defenders in the league. It was also during a time when all-time great Michael Jordan and his Bulls were walking through teams like nothing.

However, Jordan did not have any fun playing against the Pistons with their “Jordan Rules”. The “Bad Boys” were a huge roadblock for the Bulls with their physical defense. And Rodman played a huge part in the team. In 1988, the Pistons reached the finals to play against the legendary Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and the Los Angeles “Showtime” Lakers. And the Lakers won the title beating the Pistons 4-3.
