Michael Jordan once revealed why he couldn’t get a date in high school

In 1987, Michael Jordan‘s name was constantly in the headlines because of his outstanding performance. He can be seen giving several interviews and talking about his early life and work ethic in his younger years. But once he spoke about his struggles finding a date. It was shocking for the host to know that Jordan couldn’t get a date in high school. To which Jordan replied, “It sounds sad but it is true.”

Jordan revealed, “A lot of guys picked on me and you know they do it in front of the girls.” He further revealed that the guys in his high school make jokes about his haircut and the way he plays with his tongue out. Jordan then said, “The girls accounted and they’d laugh at that, and right then I was dead, I couldn’t get a date with anybody.”

His Airness revealed that he also does his own chores. In fact, he had to learn doing household work because he thought he’d be a bachelor all his life.

The story was quite hilarious but at the same time one of the best examples of how hard work can change everything. MJ went on to win six NBA championships all with the Chicago Bulls. Other than being a sports legend he is also a genius businessman with a net worth of over $2.3 billion.
