Monty Williams embarks on a new journey

Magic Johnson could not have been happier seeing Williams get the recognition he deserves. The 51-year-old was the head coach of the Phoenix Suns for the past four years and turned the team into a top-tier contender.

He led the Suns to a Finals appearance after a long 28-year wait. Williams was also named the Head Coach of the Year in the 2021-22 NBA season after he led the Suns to their franchise best regular season record. It was definitely a disappointing sight for Phoenix fans to see Williams being replaced after what he did for the Suns.
