The much awaited display of the NBA rookies’ balling skills began at the NBA Summer league in Sacramento. Notably, the 7 ‘4 French baller, Victor Wembanyama, will make his summer league debut on July 7. Michael Jordan’s Charlotte Hornets picked Brandon Miller as the second overall pick of the NBA Draft. But fans expressed their displeasure on the team’s decision to pick Miller over Scoot Henderson. What added fuel to the fire was the 20-year-old’s recent outing in summer league.

The Hornets faced the San Antonio Spurs in the summer league on Monday night. In the absence of Wembanyama, fans’ attention was on Miller. But the rising star pulled off an underwhelming performance.

Notably, Miller registered 5 points with 6 fouls at halftime. It was enough for the online bullies to roast the star and subsequently, dragging Michael Jordan into the conversation.

On the other hand, the #3 draft pick, Henderson also faced fans’ wrath for picking LeBron James over MJ during an interview. The Lakers superstar won over the rookies’ hearts in a landslide victory over the Bulls legend.
