Consequently, he has made investments to help grow his business empire. However, he refrains from venturing into a field that he does not have knowledge about. When a million-dollar crypto deal was put in front of him, Shaq rejected it right away.

When asked why he does not invest in cryptocurrency, Shaq said, “I don’t understand it. So I will probably stay away from it until I get a full understanding of what it is.”

Interestingly enough, when a crypto company offered Shaquille O’Neal a huge deal, he rejected it. Shaq said, “I always get these companies that say, ‘Hey, we’ll give you $900,000 in crypto to send out a tweet.’ So I have to say, ‘OK, if you’re going to give me a million dollars worth of crypto, then why do you need me?’”

Although he might not be interested in crypto, there are other stars who are actively involved in the world of cryptocurrency. Take, for example, Stephen Curry. The four-time NBA champion has a huge portfolio and also has his own NFT.

Moreover, he has a huge net worth of around $400 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. He earned $292 million in salaries alone spanning his long career in the NBA, adding to that another $200 million from endorsement deals.

Despite having retired from the NBA for quite some time, he still earns around $60 million in salary yearly.
