Vanessa Bryant, the wife of late Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant, has put an end to her legal struggles after Los Angeles County agreed to pay a big fee to settle the lawsuit. After some members of the department had spread the pictures of the Lakers legend’s remains from the helicopter crash, Vanessa Bryant sued LA County. Bryant put on a courageous fight for the honor of both her husband and daughter.
Although the lawyers for the County admitted that the pictures had been shared, an immediate order to delete them stopped them from reaching the public. Moreover, the other victims of the crash were paid huge amounts as well. LA County agreed to pay Vanessa and her daughters nearly $28.85 million to settle the lawsuit. This includes the $15 million a jury had already awarded Vanessa Bryant.
