Five-time NBA Champion Dennis Rodman is one of the most unique players in NBA history. His on-court and off-court antics are legendary and crazy. But he could have surpassed his contemporaries in terms of net worth if he had agreed to write a book on the NBA, which he claimed would have been worth a billion dollars. However, he eventually declined because he knew too much.

Rodman’s off-court antics were legendary. The Worm’s appearance in the WWE during the NBA Finals, his relationships with superstars off the court, and his trip to Las Vegas in the middle of the season are just the tip of the iceberg. Rodman has had a wild ride in his 14-year NBA career.

But there was one thing that Rodman declined to do.

Dennis Rodman rejected a billion-dollar idea just because he knew too much

Back in the day, Rodman was once approached to write a book. And it was supposed to be tell-all book for the NBA. However, Rodman rejected it and he recently revealed why, “I’ve seen a lot of sh** dude, they’ve asked me to write a f**k tell-all book in the NBA. I said if I did that, I’d be a billionaire. I know too much sh**.”

“Too many players, Too many people, Too many women. I’ve f***ed a lot of guys’ wives. I won’t say any names,” he added.

In addition, he also said that back in the day, there would be a room for the wives of the players. And after the games they would come and meet the players. Here, Rodman got the opportunity to meet several of the wives of players and take them out to dinner. And he also admitted that he knew a lot about a lot of players. As a result, if he had attempted to write the book, it would have certainly sold out like hotcakes.

The five-time NBA Champ had a hugely successful career on the court. He won two titles with the Detroit Pistons, after which he went to the San Antonio Spurs. Later he joined the Chicago Bulls and won three more titles.

And he would go on to play for a couple of other teams and do a stint overseas. Rodman eventually retired and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2011.
