Another NBA legend who is big into music is Shaquille O’Neal. The Big Diesel has come out with multiple rap albums and was really popular.
Even today he stays connected to music as he performs as a DJ every now and then. However, what happened in his battle against comedic genius Ken Jeong had everyone in shock.
Ken Jeong is one of the funniest actors in Hollywood. He is famous for his role in movies such as The Hangover series as well as Community. And living up to his comedic figure, he came out to battle 4 time NBA champion, Shaq.

The two appeared on the segment ‘Drop The Mic’ and had the entire crowd growing wild. With Shaq’s ability to rap, there seemed to be a vast gap in the competition. However, Ken came out with some serious heat.

Despite having an edge over the Hangover actor, Shaq had to accept defeat to Ken Jeong.
Shaquille O’Neal lost to Ken
While on The Late Late Show, Shaq and Ken Jeong came in as opponents on the ‘Drop The Mic’ segment. With Ken matched up against the 7-foot NBA legend, he had to bring his best. Likewise, Ken brought out all his weapons and put Shaq to the ground with his comedic genius. However, O’Neal did not go down easily.
Both the stars went right at each other. Ken threw disses at Shaq for his poor free-throw shooting and even used his size against him. As for Shaq, Ken being tiny was the main theme of his insults. But when it came to the crowd, there was only one clear winner. The crowd was loud when the name of Ken Jeong was called out. While Shaq doesn’t take losses all that well, he had great praise for Ken.

Shaquille O’Neal claimed that Jeong was the funniest guy he knows. He said, “Ken Jeong is the funniest man I’ve ever met in my life. It was actually a tough battle.”
However, Ken is also a medical doctor by profession. While doing his comedy on the side, Jeong completed his medical degree from the University of North Carolina. Surprisingly, he once helped a woman who has a seizure in the middle of his show. Ken even made his own series called ‘Dr. Ken’ which starred him as the main lead actor.
