In what was an entertaining night, the Golden State Warriors fell to the Sacramento Kings in Game 1 of the NBA playoffs on Saturday. It was a tough loss to take for the reigning champions as it all came down to one last shot. Being down 0-1, there generally isn’t much to celebrate. But for Stephen Curry and C0., they saw Andrew Wiggins don the jersey for the first time in 62 days. Despite his emotional battles off the court, the former All-Star forward impressed many, including his teammate Draymond Green.
Boasting about the 28-year-old during his recent podcast episode, the former Defensive Player of The Year sent a warning to the NBA that could send chills down the Kings’ spine.

During the latest episode of ‘The Draymond Green Show’, the four-time NBA champion spoke about the Warriors being a ‘different’ team with their Canadian teammate on the floor. Just in his first game back, Wiggins scored 17 off the bench in just 28 minutes. And Green was impressed. “Kudos to Wiggs. We need him,” said the 33-year-old.
Despite having an impact on both sides of the floor, there were concerns regarding Andrew Wiggins‘ shooting. The Warriors forward converted just a single three-pointer in eight tries, including missing a potential game-winner. However, Green made it clear, there isn’t much worry in the camp regarding the forward’s shot-making.
Green believes Andrew Wiggins would normally make such shots and even displayed confidence in his brother. “He was 1-8 from the three with some shots that he normally would hit and I don’t doubt that he is going to hit those,” said Green about the worries regarding Wiggins’ shooting troubles.
That wasn’t all. Reacting to his own podcast clip on Twitter, the four-time All-Star had a message for the NBA world. He simply wrote, “Storm coming”?
