4x NBA champion and Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal has found a new pet project after his retirement. O’Neal started a podcast show labeled ‘The Big podcast’ over a year ago. The Big Diesel talks about the NBA, social media, celebrities, and much more in the podcast. In the recent episode, while talking about his new fitness regime, O’Neal harps back on the time when a female friend called him “Chubby.”

Shaquille O’Neal appears every week alongside Nichelle Turner and Spice Adams on The Big Podcast.? In one of the recent episodes, The Big Diesel revealed how Turner once called him overweight.

Fellow podcast host called Shaquille O’Neal “Chubby” in their first meeting

In one of the starting segments of the episode titled ‘The Big Cashmere Coat’, when the crew was talking about O’Neal and the TNT crew’s contract extensions, the conversations took a wild turn and ended up on O’Neal’s weight. O’Neal then revealed that when he and his fellow host, Nischelle Turner, met for the first time, she fat-shamed him and offered to connect him with a trainer. O’Neal admitted that he took up the offer and has since religiously started taking care of his body.

O’Neal further shed more light on the amusing exchange between him and Turner. “Hey man, you look Chubby on camera”?According to O’Neal, in one of their first meetings, she called him chubby on camera and advised him to fix it. O’Neal admitted to feeling hurt after those comments,?“I’m like damn.”?But O’Neal heeded the words because they were coming out of Turner’s mouth.?

For the rest of the segment, O’Neal and Turner try to one-up each other and attempt to get the story right.?On the other hand, Spice Adams can be seen having a blast. Shaq and his crew then talk about the new regular season, Ben Simmons, expectations of Joel Embid, the struggles of the Lakers, and more on the podcast.?
