NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal is known to be a huge car collector. He has a variety of cars and a majority of them are customized to fit his enormous frame. But when he was in college, Shaq pulled off an amazing deal by which he got seven cars for the price of only three.
Even when he was young, Shaq was known to be a dealmaker. He used to regularly get the best deals possible for himself and his friends and family. He is used to getting almost anything he wants.

One time he got a painting that he liked for nearly half the asking price. It was a gift for his father, who is a retired military man and when the owner asked for $250, Shaq asked him a few questions. And when he felt like he had the upper hand, Shaq went in and got it finally for $125.
Shaquille O’Neal proudly calls himself the Real Deal
Another one of Shaq’s stories is where he got a deal for his cars. He said that he owns seven cars, but he only paid for three of them. He proudly said, “I know how to get deals. That was my first nickname in college: the Real Deal.”

Shaquille O’Neal also used his skills in making deals in the business world as well. He has invested in multiple big companies including Google and Lyft. And he has made millions off of them. He still makes great business deals to this date and many consider him to be a very successful entrepreneur.

And this knack of getting great deals and investing smartly has let him build a net worth of over $400 million, making him one of the richest athletes in the world. The ability of Shaq to get it done on and off the court has made him one of the most popular figures in NBA history.
