3X NBA Champion Dwyane Wade Feels “In Debt to the Universe” in a Heartwarming Message to Wife Gabrielle Union

Dwayne Wade and Gabrielle Union have stood rock solid by each other. They have been married for almost a decade, and are still going strong. The basketball player is nine years younger than her, but their relationship is proof that age is just a number. The couple recently celebrated Union’s 50th birthday in Africa.

The 3X NBA champion took to Instagram to profess his love for his wife. Wade said: “We’ve been at this for a solid min!!! 50!??? Where!?? Happy Birthday to my dream girl!” He also added, “I’m forever grateful and in debt to the universe for choosing me to be your husband! Let’s keep making this love thing, do what we want it to do! I got you.”

Wade also showed his romantic side and ended the post with an infinity and a queen emoji. Union had been previously married to former NFL player Chris Howard. And Dwayne Wade was previously married to Siohavaugh Funches, before the two ended up together.

Wade and Union announced their engagement in late 2013 and got married the following year. The couple has been transparent throughout their journey about their breakups, makeups, and even fertility issues. In 2018, they welcomed their daughter Kaavia James into their family.

The powerhouse couple has their toes dipped in several business ventures as well. Union founded a beauty brand and a snack company, and is also a New York Times best-selling author. Both of them invested in the skin-care industry, with their brand ‘Proudly‘. The line was inspired by their child and the products were curated for babies and children of color.

The couple is not short on praising each other as well. The actress once revealed that the basketball player wrote romantic poems for her. And Wade was always very appreciative of the support he got from his wife.
