He even predicted the 1992 Dream Team to lose to a team led by the late great Kobe Bryant.
Andre Iguodala and Evan Turner discussed the never-ending debate about which team would win in a potential matchup. While it is up to perception, people try to prove their points vehemently. Iguodala, who is a former Finals MVP with the Warriors, actually picked the 2012 USA Olympics basketball team over the 1992 Dream Team.

Talking about the Bulls vs Warriors debate, Andre Iguodala said he can never overlook Michael Jordan. “Any team with Michael Jordan, I’m picking except for 2012 vs 92 dream team“, Iguodala revealed.
Both these teams consisted of some of the best players in the NBA at the time. They completely bulldozed their way to Olympic gold medal. However, Stephen Curry and Draymond Green wouldn’t likely have liked Iggy picking the Chicago Bulls over the Golden State Warriors.

Comparing two different eras is a very difficult task and it will require heavy research and insights from someone who has watched both teams that happen to be 20 years apart. Both teams would probably beat any team from any other era. However, they may struggle against each other with very little to differentiate the two.
1992 Dream Team vs 2012 Team led by Kobe Bryant
While the 1992 team had Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, and Larry Bird for starters, the 2012 team was led by Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, and Kevin Durant. Iguodala was himself part of the 2012 USA team that beat Spain in the gold medal match.
The 1992 team defeated their opponents by an average of 44 points. Out of the 12 players on the roster, 11 have been inducted into the Hall of Fame and the team also got inducted collectively.

Meanwhile, the 2012 team beat their opponents by an average of 32 points. More than half the players on that roster will probably be inducted into the Hall of Fame in due time. While the 1992 team was more dominant, the 2012 team played against better competition as basketball has certainly become more competitive over time.

However, this is a never-ending debate and there are perhaps no right or wrong answers. People will always have their biases towards a certain team, which will likely influence their decision.
