The theme song for the 2010 FIFA World Cup named “Waka Waka” made the whole world dance to its tunes and Shakira’s popularity skyrocketed. Recently on a live stream, her husband Gerard Pique announced that we can expect a Shakira and Shaquille O’Neal collaboration soon.

During a live stream with popular Spanish streamer, Ibai Llanos, Pique made the revelations regarding an exciting collaboration between the two superstars.

Gerard Pique reveals a Shakira and Shaquille O’Neal collaboration

Seeing two of the biggest superstars on the same stage will be a treat for the fans. And we might just be in for that very soon. World-famous singer Shakira’s husband Gerard Pique revealed some very interesting information during a Twitch live stream.

Talking about a possible collaboration between Shaq and Shakira, Pique said, “My wife and Shaquille O’Neal might appear together during our next event. Shak and Shaq, you know.”

Although he hasn’t revealed any other detail regarding the possible collaboration, we might see the two together very soon.

Has Shakira performed in the NBA?

Shakira is no stranger to the NBA. The popular singer has performed during the halftime show of the 2010 NBA All-Star Game. She teamed up with Alicia Keys and Usher and performed hit singles of her.

The 2010 NBA All-Star game had the likes of LeBron James, Allen Iverson, Kobe Bryant, and Kevin Durant, to name a few.

Shaq mimics Shakira

Shaquille O’Neal and his antics on the popular ‘NBA on TNT’ show need no introduction. He once hilariously copied the antics of Shakira during the NFL Super Bowl halftime show in 2020.

Shakira and Jennifer Lopez put on a show during the halftime show of the NFL Super Bowl. And Shaq, being his usual self, decided to have some fun. During the ‘NBA on TNT’ show, he mimicked Shakira’s mannerisms during her performance, which had gone viral that year.
