The average height of NBA players currently is six-feet-seven inches. The players who play at the top of the sport are athletic and huge in size. Shaquille O’Neal was one of the most notable NBA giants, standing at seven-feet tall. Many have labeled the four-time NBA Champion as one of the most dominant NBA players of all time, due to his ability combined with his sheer size on-court.

Back in 2013, Charles Barkley, another NBA legend, Shaquille O’Neal, and Dwayne Johnson posed for a picture together. Johnson was himself surprised at how distinct the NBA players were from everybody.

Shaquille O’Neal has always been considered a giant on the court, one of the main reasons it was impossible to stop him during his peak. The Los Angeles Lakers legend has been known for breaking backboards with his sheer power during his playing days.

Charles Barkley, the Philadelphia 76ers legend, standing at a height of six-feet-six is not that tall according to NBA standards. But he was known to have immense drive and talent as he famously stood up to none other than Shaquille O’Neal in 1999.

Dwayne Johnson was talking about the picture back in 2020 on the Jimmy Kimmel Show. “Listen, you know that’s the thing about basketball, right? You know this, Anthony, because you’re a fan. You see these dudes; they’re like weekend warriors and you’re like, ‘Oh I could ball in the NBA.’ You get around real players and you recognize quickly just how big these guys are and how impressive these guys are. First of all, I didn’t have any shoes on” the six-foot-five former WWE superstar said. 

He jokingly mentioned how he looked even smaller than the other two giants because he was barefoot.

There has been a lot of talk among fans discussing the shoe size of the Lakers legend. Mostly because of his big stature. The size of NBA players’ shoes have been a constant source of amazement for fans worldwide.
