Charles Barkley is a very entertaining analyst on “Inside the NBA.” He has been called “an oldhead’ by many present NBA stars, but this hasn’t deterred him at all. The former player shares his opinion on all things basketball and beyond fearlessly. This time around, he has commented on Bradley Beal’s new contract. The player has accepted a $251 million deal from the Washington Wizards.
This news prompted the former MVP to remember his late mother. He said, “I love my mom. Every time I see one of those contracts, I want to drive to the graveyard and just snatch her up and say, ‘Why couldn’t you just wait a couple more years to have me?!'”

It was looking like Beal would finally leave the franchise, but Washington was not willing to part ways. They gave him a five-year max. Many experts have noted this to be a very bad contract decision by the Wizards. Barkley also agrees with them.

Beal’s deal also includes a no-trade clause. Hence, there can be no Gobert-like situation going on for them. It can blow up any chances of a trade too advantageous for the franchise. A proper rebuild would be something ambitious and this move comes across as the opposite.
To many, Beal is at the tail end of his career. But Washington failed to cash in. Therefore, Barkley took this opportunity to make fun of them.
Charles Barkley offended Kevin Durant badly this year
Chuck is not known to mince words. He is a straight shooter and has offended people before with his opinions. The most recent one was star player Kevin Durant. Barkley said that his legacy as a player was incomplete because he won two rings with the help of others at Golden State.
Barkley used the term “Bus-Rider” to describe Durant. It came at the heels of Boston destroying Brooklyn 4-0 in the 1st round of the playoffs.

Durant got offended by these words. At first, he posted pictures of Charles Barkley alongside other star teammates in the Houston Rockets and the Philadelphia 76ers. Subsequently, Durant stated that Barkley was just jealous of how much they earned.
