In an interview with Marc Stein recently, after the historic night at Alamodome,?Curry shared the advice he received from NFL veteran and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady. The 7-time NFL champion is currently in his 23rd season, after coming off from his retirement last season.?

Curry has taken utmost care of his body. He also has avoided serious injuries in all these 14 years, which is a major key to longevity. The star has stayed in his best possible shape for a long time by taking in the proper nutrition and doing the proper fitness. With 40 being the benchmark for retirement, Curry might overtake that.

In an interview recently, when asked about his plans for retirement, Curry told what Brady had shared with him.? The Warriors guard revealed, “Even Tom Brady was telling me that every year the conversation with himself in the offseason is, ‘All right, what’s it going to take me to get two more years out of this?'”

Curry added, “And then that would pass, and it’s, ‘What’s it going to take me to get two more?’ Just kind of evolving through that process that way as opposed to saying, ‘I want to get to 40,’ and forgetting the details of what it takes.”?Curry previously shared another advice he received from Tom Brady in December after receiving the Sports Man of the Year award in the ESPYs.
Odds of Curry playing beyond 40 years of age
Curry’s words have definitely instilled hope in Warriors fans. Looking at the shape and conditioning of the Baby-Faced Assassin, there are high chances the star might play for several more years. Apart from his age, Curry is currently averaging 29.3 points, 6.3 assists, and 6.3 rebounds in his 14th year in the league.
