The Los Angeles Lakers won against the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday night with a 133-129 finish. Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo had a message for LeBron James after the game on social media. The ‘Greek Freak’ has always paid homage to the four-time NBA champion. He captioned a photo of him hugging James after the game.

Giannis Antetokounmpo took to social media to express his bond with the Los Angeles Lakers great. He wrote, “Embrace the moment. It’s always great playing against the best. Let’s get back on track”.
The last sentence could probably hold water for both the Bucks and the Lakers.

Despite their victory, James?commented that the Lakers were not a “well-oiled machinery” like the Bucks are. And after their loss, the Milwaukee Bucks would likely benefit from reflection and recuperation.
Even with the win, LeBron said he wasn't ready to put the Lakers on the Bucks' level citing their continuity: "That is a well-oiled machine."
Adds: "We're not there. But for us, we're just trying to get better."

Antetokounmpo scored 40 points while LeBron James and Anthony Davis had a combined total of 72 points. During the game, Antetokounmpo had a phenomenal block on James. The NBA champion was rushing to the hoop and just as he was about to dunk, Antetokounmpo appeared out of nowhere and slammed the ball in another direction. The home crowd went wild after as well.

Antetokounmpo recently?said that LeBron James was still the face of the NBA. LeBron James’ longevity has been aspirational for Antetokounmpo. He sang praises of James, who is now in his 20th season in the league.
Giannis Antetoukounmpo remained ever-humble when he admitted that he would like to emulate LeBron James‘ qualities.

“Hopefully, I can do this for 18 years, 20 years. That’s the goal“, the two-time MVP said. At the end of 2020, Antetokounmpo and the Bucks reached an agreement on a five-year $228 million supermax contract extension.
LeBron James bagged another NBA milestone in tonight’s game. He surpassed Lakers legend Magic Johnson with the most number of career assists. He touched the 10,133 mark in the fourth quarter of the game. LeBron James is now number six?on the all-time assists list in NBA history.

With the win and both teams playing their 21st game of the season so far, the Lakers are at 9-12 and the Bucks are 15-6.
