Ever since ‘The Last Dance’ premiered back in 2020, Dennis Rodman has come re-emerged into the limelight after years of controversies. His impact on the game of basketball is unquestioned, but that got somewhat lost over the years for a plethora of reasons. However, the documentary reiterated how influential and important ‘The Worm’ was to the Chicago Bulls. That impact has now translated onto the next generation of hoopers as well. We can see constant comparisons of San Antonio Spurs star Jeremy Sochan to the 5x NBA champion. Furthermore, his influence has spread over to college basketball as well.
University of North Carolina star Armando Bacot made history during the Tar Heels win over NC State. The 22-year-old broke UNC’s double-double and all-time rebounding records in the same game. To commemorate the huge achievement, Bacot paid tribute to Rodman in his own special way. Two days before the big game against NC State, Bacot got himself a Rodman tattoo on his calf.
