He praised the backcourt of the Blazers and confessed that the team has got two “really good guards“.

Damian Lillard and Anfernee Simons have been at the top of their game. The duo has been the backbone of the team and Ant admitted, “They cooked us last time“.

Ant continued to say that though the $225 million NBA All-Star Lillard had a great game, it was mainly because he had a lot of free throws. However, he definitely praised Simons for playing well. Edwards believes that he would be better in tonight’s game. This may be due to his mental notes on the game and the players.

Anthony Edwards proves his mettle

He also said, “I think the more film I watch, the better I’m getting with it“.
