Millions of fans around the world await the NBA Finals as the Golden State Warriors take on the Boston Celtics. While the Warriors and Stephen Curry have a good chance of beating the Celtics, eminent analysts think otherwise.

According to a study released by ESPN, the Celtics are clear favorites to win this year’s championship. The Basketball Power Index of ESPN states that the Warriors have a 14% chance of beating the Celtics. This clearly comes as a surprise as the Warriors are no pushover.

Although the Celtics had a tougher run to the finals, the Dubs have the experienced three of Klay Thompson, Stephen Curry, and Draymond Green. These three have played in multiple finals which gives them the much-needed experience.

Can Stephen Curry win his 4th NBA title?

The NBA Finals of 2021-22 bring forth an interesting matchup between the Golden State Warriors and the Boston Celtics. Moreover, it brings up a match between the Eastern Conference Finals MVP, Jayson Tatum, and Western Conference Finals MVP, Stephen Curry.

This happens to be a special final for Curry. In case the Warriors pull off a victory, Curry will win his 4th title equalling him with LeBron James. Moreover, the case of the Warriors being the modern-day dynasty will be further solidified.

As for the Boston Celtics, this is their first NBA Final since 2010. Thanks to the heroics of Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and Marcus Smart along with the rest of the team, the Celtics are strong favorites to win this year.

From the Celtics side, Tatum is the point leader averaging 27.0 points. In the rebounds department, Al Horford leads with 9.6 rebounds. Marcus Smart leads the way averaging 6.2 assists. (Source: ESPN)

On the other hand, Stephen Curry is back to his absolute best this playoff series. He leads the team in points averaging 25.9 points. Kevon Looney is the rebound leader averaging 7.7 rebounds and Draymond Green is the assists leader averaging 6.3 assists. (Source: ESPN)
