Steph Curry returned last season from a hand injury that he suffered during the 2019-20 NBA season. Despite this, he ended up breaking a few records last season. The Golden State Warriors point guard became the first guard since Michael Jordan (1995-96) to score at least 25 points on 50% shooting in 9 straight games.
Curry also broke James Harden’s record of most threes made in a month in NBA history as he scored 85 in April 2021. Three-pointers remain Curry’s forte as he broke yet another three-pointer-related record last season. He became the fastest player to reach 300 three-pointers in one season over the course of just 58 games.
Curry also became the Warriors’ all-time leading scorer as he moved past Wilt Chamberlain with 17,784 points. Last season, he averaged 5.2 three-pointers each game, the highest average in NBA history.
