A month ago, the Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry received his degree and was officially inducted into Davidson College’s Hall of Fame. And now his longtime teammate, Draymond Green has also been inducted into the Michigan State Hall of Fame. And the $160 million star welcomed his teammate to the club with a three-word message.

Curry went back to Davidson College to finish his remaining classes and earn his degree. He had a solo graduation ceremony and his number was also raised to the rafters. Curry was drafted by the Warriors in 2009 and he still had to finish a few classes to get his degree. And he did so this off-season.

Meanwhile, Draymond Green had already finished his four years and was drafted in 2012. Both Curry and Green have been teammates for 10 years now and they have undoubtedly achieved great things together. And for their achievements they were inducted into their respective college’s Hall of Fame.

Green had his number retired and his son was there with him to celebrate the moment. Curry congratulated him and posted a story with the caption, “That’s my dawg”. Green was ecstatic on learning that he will be inducted into the Hall of Fame and he thanked everyone who was part of his journey, and he had a special statement for his coach, Tom Izzo.

Green said,” I really just want to thank Coach Izzo? number one, for recruiting me to be a Michigan State Spartan but number two, for pushing me the way he did, for tapping into something that I didn?t even know could be tapped into about myself and teaching me how to work hard. I can?t thank him enough. It?s changed my life.”

Green and Stephen Curry have been two pillars of the Warriors dynasty that have won four titles and reached six NBA Finals in the last eight years.

Green’s chemistry with the team, especially with Curry and Klay Thompson, is arguably what sets them apart. They are perhaps the most dominant trio in today’s game and they don’t show any signs of slowing down.

With Curry and Green in the Hall of Fame, their sights will be on defending their title next season.
