One of the most outspoken athletes in the NBA is Kevin Durant. The Brooklyn Nets star regularly takes to his social media accounts to troll his haters and talk about issues. Recently, he called out his former Golden State Warriors teammate who talked about Stephen Curry.

The former teammate in question is none other than Draymond Green. He talked about how Curry is doubled-teamed all the time and he doesn’t get the recognition he deserves.

For the ones looking for context, one of the only accolades missing from Curry’s impressive trophy cabinet is a Finals Most Valuable Player award. Draymond called out everyone who rate Curry based on only his winnings.

Green said, “They need those shiny objects for them to be able to analyze what’s going on. Steph Curry got double-teamed 7X the amount KD did…the impact he has on a game, if you don’t understand basketball, you’re going to say he needs a FMVP to validate who he is.”

A fan tagged Kevin Durant on Twitter and asked him his thoughts regarding the statement Draymond put out in public. Durant held nothing back as he bashed Draymond.

Kevin Durant calls out statement favoring Stephen Curry

There is no denying Kevin Durant is one of the best players in the league currently. Apart from being explosive on the court, he is a very outspoken person on social media.

This is evident in the recent war of words with former Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green. When Green put out the aforementioned statement favoring Stephen Curry, Durant was quick to call him out. He wrote, “From my view of it, this is 100% false…”

Interestingly enough, this is not the first time Durant and Draymond have had a bump in their relationship. Draymond was one of the biggest reasons why KD left the Warriors to join the Brooklyn Nets.

During a game against the Los Angeles Clippers, Green failed to give Durant the ball in the dying moments. This led to a strong argument on live TV which is believed to be one of the reasons why KD left.
