The 1995-98 Chicago Bulls are arguably the most dominant team in NBA history. Led by Michael Jordan, the Bulls secured the best regular season record of the time and a highly touted three-peat. With the supporting cast of Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman, they also created one of the greatest trios the game has ever seen. While the dominance of Jordan is undeniable, his legacy wouldn’t be the same without Scottie and Rodman.
The two anchored the team together and allowed Jordan to do his thing. But with? His Airness getting most of the credit, Scottie now seems to be on a mission to wage war. And while Rodman hasn’t picked a side, he did add to Pippen’s argument by calling out MJ’s failures.

During a recent appearance on Vlad TV, Dennis Rodman was questioned about Scottie’s role with the Chicago Bulls. Reiterating a point made by John Salley, a former teammate of the trio, DJ Vlad asked the Rebound King-?”Based on his (Salley) experience he said that ‘Scottie Pippen is the most skilled player’ he has ever worked with, not Jordan. Agree or disagree?‘”
Dennis called the question “tough“. Boy, is that understatement.
Finally, Dennis acknowledged that Michael couldn’t do it by himself. Explaining that MJ could drop 40 points, but it was Scottie Pippen who came in and filled in the blanks for him. Talking about it in his own words Rodman explained how closely tied Pippen and Jordan’s legacies are.
“I keep saying this, I said Thank god Michael Jordan got Scottie Pippen because Michael couldn’t do it himself.”
Continuing to side with Scottie, Dennis revealed how Scottie was the first “Power Forward, Point Guard” that could average triple-doubles in today’s game. When asked about Scottie’s comments on Michael not being a great player till he showed up, Dennis shockingly agreed.
Like Pippen, Rodman believed it was Scottie who brought the best out of Michael Jordan.

Once a revered friendship, now turned sour. The relationship between Scottie and Michael seems to deteriorate with every passing day.
Perhaps it stemmed from the portrayal of the Chicago Bulls as a one-man team in Jordan’s ‘Last Dance’ documentary. Since then, Scottie has gone on a run trashing Jordan’s legacy even going far as to say that MJ”wasn’t a great player.”
Bulls fans are in horror as their GOAT’s legacy is being tarnished by his own teammate. Calling LeBron, the greatest “statistical player ever” and Jordan a horrible teammate, Scottie is no longer holding back.
