In a conversation with fellow basketball analysts, Charles Barkley remarked, “I don’t think the Miami Heat gonna win but if they were able to beat Milwaukee, Boston and the Nuggets that would have been the greatest runs in my opinion in NBA history. Same thing with these Panthers.” He directly compared the Miami Heat’s playoff run to the Florida Panthers’ unexpected journey to the Stanley Cup Finals in ice hockey, defying all odds.
