The day is finally here. All eyes will be glued to the Wynn Golf Club in Las Vegas for The Match VIII. Two of sports’ most revered and popular tandems will battle it out for glory. One side features NFL’s star QB Patrick Mahomes and the unshakable Travis Kelce. On the opposing end are Stephen Curry and Klay Thomspon – the Golden State Warriors’ very own Splash Brothers. Before their contest officially begins, the rivals took time to talk and answer questions for one last time.
Draymond Green, Curry’s teammate and a podcaster took the job of being the moderator. While revealing who he has his money on, the four-time champion put both his teammates in an uncomfortable spot.

As a dynasty, the Warriors have graced several of the NBA’s top talents. However, they have always had their long-standing core of Curry, Thompson, and Green. Their play styles complement one another and are one of the integral reasons the Bay ever became an NBA powerhouse. Draymond Green, a former DPOY has been the facilitator and the Warriors’ leader. While moderating The Match VIII’s final interviews, the four-time All-Star once again proved his loyalty as a teammate. However, while he doesn’t mind being in the shadow, that does come with some limitations, especially when involved in placing money on the contest. So, Green put up a stipulation.
