His recent promotion of ‘God of War Ragnarok’ has been rated as a massive success. The developer, Santa Monica Studio sold over 5 million copies of the game just in their debut week.

They set a franchise record as the fastest-selling game first-party launch game for PlayStation. The game also got rave reviews online as well. LeBron James took to social media to celebrate.

He replied with a picture of his son, Bronny James, and him, channelizing the virtual father-son duo, Kratos and Atreus. The four-time NBA champion wrote, “WOW!! Let’s Go!!!”

Fans showed love for LeBron James

The fans were hyped for the record set by ‘God of War Ragnarok’. They showed love for the reply from LeBron James and joined in his excitement as well. Here are a few reactions:

Prior to its release on November 9, the studio dropped a trailer featuring famous fathers and their children. LeBron and Bronny were joined by Ben Stiller and his son Quinlin and John Travolta and his daughter Ella. They were part of a group therapy session, that had viewers laughing hard.

‘The Last of Us: Part II’ previously held the record, with over 4 million copies being sold in three days. The previous version of ‘God of War’ released in 2018 sold 23 million copies worldwide, and Sony expected a similar performance from their popular franchise.

LeBron James has always been a huge fan of eSports and video games. Almost a decade ago, he shared a picture of him and a much younger Bronny James, along with Bryce and Auston playing video games at home. He would play with the kids as part of their quality time.

In 2020, Bronny joined FazeClan, a professional e-sports organization. He has since then streamed multiple games from Fortnite to Warzone and even NBA 2K under his handle, “FaZe Bronny.”
