Days after the physical altercation between Draymond Green and his Golden State Warriors teammate Jordan Poole, the former has finally spoken out in public. On October 16, 2022, Green took to his official Twitter account and gave his thoughts on the recent boxing match between Claressa Shields and Savannah Marshall. Green wrote that although it was not a close fight, it was indeed a good one. The Shields vs Marshall fight took place at the O2 Arena in London on October 16.

Claressa Shields faced Savannah Marshall in one of the most anticipated fights in women’s boxing history. Shields emerged victorious through a unanimous decision in a fight where she was not expected to win. However, Shields proved herself a difficult opponent and displayed her spectacular skills to come away with the win in front of a crowd of around 20,000 people.

Shields became the undisputed middleweight champion, thus accomplishing what no boxer of any gender has been able to do before.

“Every round she hit me with big shots, and I?d hit her back with a big shot. If she hit me to the body, I punched her to the body. There were times when I was against the ropes and I landed my shots, and there were times when she went up against the ropes and [landed hers]. But I did the most work today and landed the combinations,” said Shields.
Draymond Green and Jordan Poole return to the court
Draymond Green returned to the court for the team’s final pre-season game after it was announced that the NBA player will not be suspended by the franchise for the incident. The Golden State Warriors played against the Denver Nuggets?on October 15. It seems like both players have put their differences aside to come together for the game.
However, both Green and Poole seemed to have failed to make much of an impact in the game. While Green scored four points, one assist, and two rebounds, Poole scored three points, one assist, and two rebounds.

Meanwhile, Warriors superstar Stephen Curry averaged 23 points, three assists, and two rebounds. Despite that, the Warriors lost to the Nuggets by 112-119.?The Warriors did fairly well in their pre-season games, winning three out of five games. The regular season starts on October 18 and the Warriors will face the Los Angeles Lakers on October 18, 2022.
