Fierce boxing champion, the great Mike Tyson is known for life-ending punches in the ring. During his impeccable career in boxing, Tyson once made an appearance at the Oscars. Just like how his matches turn out to be memorable, his short appearance with Eddie Murphy at the Oscars turned out to be one too. The hilarious video of Tyson and Murphy continues to resurface on the internet. 

The video seems to have caught the attention of the NBA powerhouse of the Los Angeles Lakers, Shaquille O’Neal. Fans’ hilarious reactions mocking the comedian for his imitation of the boxing legend at the show go viral.

Murphy and Tyson’s short skit during the Oscars caught the attention of stars from various industries. Mike Tyson delivered a speech honoring the late singer and actor Sammy Davis Jr., famous for his work in traditional pop. Tyson started off with, “Sammy Davis Jr., tribute and honoring the one heavy weight I would dance to in the ring with. Sammy, you are truly an undefeated champion”.

Murphy who was trying to get the best out of Tyson went on to imitate him. Murphy continued, “The producers of the show were hoping you would be able to do a little bit more Mike Tysonism”. As the comedian imitated the boxer, Tyson quickly closed Murphy’s mouth and pulled him away from the microphone. 

Fans’ reactions to the video from the Oscars, mocking the two go viral.
