Shaq’s identity as a DJ is well-known, and he has been cranking it up for a long time. He has made electronic music his abode. The former NBA Superstar has had the chance to engage more as a DJ after his retirement. Therefore, he regularly sells out music events where he takes control as a DJ. His energy, arrangements, and stage presence all help in bringing the loudest of cheers. As we can see in his recent post, it is a spectacle like a rock concert of a professional band when DJ Diesel takes up the stage.

The versatility in Shaq’s personality is truly arresting. He has equated his love for DJing with basketball. In October 2022, in an interview with Grant Cardone, Shaq elaborated upon his love for DJing. He said, “I do it because it gives me the same feeling as basketball. “When I have these kids out here I got to make them jump down, I got to keep them safe, I got to keep them having fun.”
The Big Aristotle’s interest in being a DJ goes back to when he was 14 years old and saw Public Enemy live.
The hyped-up crowd and the aura of the music group influenced him to become a DJ. Now that he is living his dream, the heights he is touching as a music personality show the love he gets. When he got to Orlando for the show, that love was on full display.

There is more to the Orlando angle
The four-time NBA champion is a sports analyst, podcast host, TV personality, multiple-business owner, and much more. He recently also revealed that he wishes to be an NBA owner for a team in Florida. A team that is not Miami Heat.
This leaves Orlando Magic as the only option in Florida. This move doesn’t sound surprising considering that Orlando drafted Shaq. He spent four seasons with the Magic and even made a Finals appearance.
