According to ESPN Insider, Marc J Spears, the seven-time NBA All-Star wants to only join the Miami Heat. Jimmy Butler’s side fell short in the NBA Finals against the Denver Nuggets a month ago. Lillard’s addition might just make them one of the strongest contenders for next season.

Spears also revealed that this blockbuster deal might involve over five teams. “I’m told that while Portland isn’t happy with potential packages, there are over five teams interested in a potential multi-team trade that could get it done”, said Spears in an interview with ESPN.

This deal has the potential to break the largest NBA trade deal in history. The Miami Heat, Memphis Grizzlies, New Orleans Hornets, Boston Celtics, and Utah Jazz agreed on a massive trade involving 13 players in 2005. Most notably, Jason Williams joined the Heat.
