ESPN, the sports media giant, is facing fires from all ends. After the organization fired more than a dozen well-known sports analysts, fans and professionals alike have expressed their distaste towards the act. And on the other side, their parent company, Disney, has enforced 7000 job cuts in a bid to save costs. While esteemed names like Jeff Van Gundy and Jalen Rose were quick to be sacrificed, eminent media analyst Stephen A. Smith is one of the last big contracts remaining at the studio. However, Smith himself fears that it might not be for long.
Hours after revealing that he might be the next one to go, Smith released a video for his haters, who have been dragging his name following the mass layoffs at ESPN.

Stephen A. Smith is one of the most well-recognized media analysts in NBA history. After all, the $20 million worth analyst has years of experience and is established as a unique voice in the industry. However, it seems like Smith, like his colleagues, is also at risk of losing his job at ESPN.
“If we?re going to be real about it, let?s deal with reality. This ain?t the end, more is coming. And yes, ladies and gentlemen, I could be next,”?revealed Smith.
24 hours after making this shocking claim, Smith released an enticing video on his social media where he had something to say to his haters. Following the ESPN layoffs, critics have been bashing Smith as his colleagues continue to lose their jobs.
Smith said, “Ya’ll can kiss my a**, twice. I’m talking directly to the people in the industry, who’ve sat up there and said, ‘Why isn’t Stephen A. gone?’ Ladies and gentlemen, we got a few people at ESPN getting paid more than me. They don’t have the number one show, they don’t have the top ratings, they don’t generate more revenue. How come ya’ll didn’t bring their names out?”
