LeBron James is one of the most famous and loved players around the world. But his opponents hate him, especially the Boston Celtics. However, the feeling is mutual. LeBron and the Celtics have had historical battles over the years and he absolutely hates Boston. The King justified his hatred by making a violent claim after a historic performance.

One of James’ fiercest rivals over his 20-year career has been the Boston Celtics. In his early years, they were his roadblock to glory, and they eliminated a young LeBron multiple times. But as he got older, James crossed that hurdle, and ever since then, the Celtics have been under his shadow.

It was game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals in 2012. LeBron James and the Miami Heat were one game away from elimination. In front of them were the Celtics. They wanted to get revenge for last year’s loss and seemingly end the Big 3 era in Miami.

However, the Chosen One had other ideas. He put the team on his back and he willed one of the greatest performances ever seen. LeBron James put in a dominating display as he piled up 45 points and 15 rebounds and he single-handedly dispatched the Celtics to force a game 7.

After the game, James addressed how much he hated the Celtics. He said, “You put my mother on the floor, and if she were in a Boston Celtics uniform, I’d break her face.”

A while back, James admitted he hated Boston. He said he had beers thrown at him in Boston and they have been very abusive over the years. The four-time champion said that Boston might be the only place that would sell T-shirts abusing him.

LeBron has spent 16 of 20 years in the East. And he has run into the Celtics over and over again. Even though he had trouble at the start, he got over the hump and has not looked back ever since. He had huge motivation to do well against the team and he absolutely hated the team. So much so that he wouldn’t spare his own mother.
