A few months ago, the Phoenix Suns were the favorite to win it all with the best record in the league. But the playoffs started, and they suffered a humiliating exit. Recently a controversy with the owners had broken out and now they are staring at an uncertain future. Amid this, a prominent starter is set to leave Devin Booker and the Suns. This has left the fans divided.
Jae Crowder and the Suns have agreed to part ways. As a result, Crowder is set to sit out the training camp. Crowder has been with the Suns for two years and is one of their most consistent performers. He was with the team when they went to the NBA Finals and was a key rotation piece.

NOW I MUST TAKE ON ANOTHER CHALLENGE WITH CONTINUED HARDWORK & DEDICATION.! FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO CLOSED THE DOOR ON ME…. THANK YOU! 99 BACK SOON.! “

You not being a starter anymore doesn’t mean you weren’t wanted. If you were team first you’d accept Cam was starter and support him and continue in your role

It was going well for the Suns and it all started going downhill when a distributing story came out about Robert Sarver. It alleged several things that Sarver had done over the years and the league said that they were going to investigate this.
After a thorough and detailed investigation, the league announced that they were gonna suspend Sarver for a year and they were gonna fine him $10 million. Moreover, the Suns’ sponsors started pulling the plug on them.

And Sarver decided to sell the team. He has put up the Phoenix Suns and the Phoenix Mercury for sale and is ready to sell the controlling interest in the team. This is still a long process as the league needs to approve it. Tons of formalities are still left. But it seems like Sarver will eventually leave the NBA as an owner after the league reprimanded him.
