During an episode of the ‘Geto Boys Reloaded’ podcast, Iverson shared his GOAT list with hip-hop legends Scarface and Willie D. The order in which he ranked some of the NBA’s elite was surprising to many.

Iverson in the 2000-01 NBA Season

Back in the 2000-01 NBA season, AI was a force to be reckoned with. He showcased his quickness and ability to score with ease, and never backed down from a challenge. Moreover, he also brought in a strong defensive presence as he averaged 2.5 steals a game in the regular season. This allowed the Sixers to earn a 56-26 record with a defensive rating of 98.9.

Thereafter was the playoffs. Powered by his impeccable scoring, Iverson was able to get past the Indiana Pacers, Toronto Raptors, and Milwaukee Bucks before setting up a showdown against the Los Angeles Lakers in the finals.

In one of the most storied performances, Iverson fought hard against Kobe and Shaq. However, his efforts were in vain as the Lakers took the cup. Regardless, he would win the scoring title and MVP award that season.
