Russell Westbrook is an NBA veteran. He has been in the league playing top basketball for 13 years. Additionally, having played for 4 different franchises, Westbrook made a name for himself since his early days. He was one of the few players who would wow the audience whenever he played. But he is past his prime now. Unfortunately, this season has been at an all-time low.

Russ West’s specialty of carrying the ball is now his weakness as he gives away too many turnovers and loses possession often. He has lost the ability to score points which he was renowned to do at ease. The 33-year-old veteran is struggling during his worst period as a professional basketball player and the fans are not making it any easier. Criticism and banter is one thing, but insulting a player of Russell Westbrook’s stature is downright disrespectful and not at all acceptable.

Russ doesn’t need to prove himself to someone who has the sole purpose of instigating someone. Russ has been in the league long enough to know his worth and one bad season does not make his whole career disappear.
