In his 19th season, LeBron James is doing things that no one ever imagined. The King is on a roll, currently leading the league in scoring at 37. He has always come up as the knight in shining armor for the Lakers in the time of need. Recently, he went back home to Cleveland and notched up a dominant triple-double. Both of them are revolutionary players in the basketball world and share immense respect for one another. Kevin Durant gives LeBron James his respect
On his return to Cleveland, it was only right that LeBron had to put on a show. With the Lakers man being hot all season, his return was no different. The Akron Hammer posted 38 points, 11 rebounds, and 12 assists against his hometown team. James was hot in the fourth quarter and shot almost 60% for the game. Likewise, Kevin Durant was left astonished with the display and made a hilarious comment to give LeBron his props.
He said: “Easy work. It’s funny how smooth this shit look at 48 years old.”
Despite not being in their prime, James and Durant have kept their head-to-head battle alive even today. While they aren’t at the same conference, they are showing out regardless. LeBron James is on his way to leading the league in scoring with 30 points every night. Moreover, he hasn’t fallen short of making history now, standing only behind Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the crown of all-time scorer. He is also the only player with 10ooo points, 10000 rebounds and 10000 assists. What is more shocking is he is doing all this at 37 with the amount of miles on his leg.
