He didn’t have a great start to the season, and he looked out of sorts with the new rule changes. And with all that was going in Brooklyn, he brought an end to that and got traded to the Philadelphia 76ers.

Harden has started off hot at the Sixers and he has formed a deadly combination with Joel Embiid. Along with that, he looks motivated and interested. That wasn’t the case when he was with the Nets. He looked out of sorts in Brooklyn. But now, he looks like the James Harden of old. Those step-back 3’s and dribble-drives to the basket seem much more effective. How has Harden fared so far?

Harden has settled in quite easily at the Sixers. He is playing in a system where he can thrive and he also has a dominant big man who can take over when needed. His new teammates have also been excellent all season long. And they will love to play with a guy like Harden. Embiid had said that he has never played with someone like Harden and is surprised by the open looks he’s getting.

After playing 3 games with the 76ers, Harden is averaging over 27 PPG, 12 APG, and 9 RPG on scoring nearly 60 percent from the field and 50 percent from three. Moreover, he has won every game so far. The Sixers will hope that he can continue this level of play all season long and in the playoffs as well, as they compete for the 2021-2022 NBA Title.
