Christmas Day brings a thrilling lineup of games for NBA and NFL fans. For them, it is not just about spending quality time with family; it also includes an entire day of marquee matchups to savor. Yet, for Bay Area fans, the day concluded on a sour note of disappointment. On one hand, their NBA team, the Golden State Warriors, surrendered to the reigning champions, the Denver Nuggets, in a crushing 120-114 defeat. On the other hand, their NFL team also suffered heartbreak at the hands of the Baltimore Ravens, who dominated the San Francisco 49ers with a final score of 19-33.

However, they can find some solace in the brief interaction between two of the biggest stars in the Bay Area: Stephen Curry and Christian McCaffrey.

The rumors about former Miss Universe and the San Francisco 49ers running back dating first started to swirl back in May 2019 when the latter liked one of Culpo’s Instagram posts. She then later revealed that the duo first met after their mutual friends set them up. Fast-forward to April 2023, and CMC decided to pop the question with a three-stone diamond engagement ring while they were on vacation.

CMC’s fiance unveils her Christmas wish

In a cheeky pre-game reel, Culpo joined hands with her sister Sophia, her parents Susan and Peter, and her fiancé Christian McCaffrey’s parents, Lisa and Ed, to ask Santa for a win for the Niners in the Christmas Day showdown. She clipped footage of the family members pretending to sleep under the covers with their 49ers merchandise laid out on top for a humorous effect.
